Happy Halloween! We had a great time celebrating Ethan's first Halloween. As you can see from the picture he dressed up as a turtle! He had a great time visiting his Gigi and Grampy and seeing his Aunt Kristen and Uncle John. Best of all he got to see his cousin Ava dressed up as a lady bug. After our visit we headed home to meet daddy as he arrived home from work! Then it was time for special visitors to come to us! Grammy Alice, Papa, Uncle Pete, and Carolyn came to the house for a peek at our special little turtle. We had a great time visiting and greeting the trick or treaters that came to the door. Needless to say Ethan headed to bed early....exhausted from his day of dressing up!
It's hard to believe that its already Halloween....Ethan's first Christmas will be here before we know it! Be sure to check the blog at least once a week to see what's new...daily when we are on our vacation!

At this year's Christmas Eve party, I think that I will feature music by "The Turtles", and play that "one hit wonder", "Lucky Lady Bug" (Billie & Lillie).

Seriously, Gail and I have been blessed with 4 wonderful Grandchildren, two wonderful daughters, and a wonderful son. Moments like those pictured, are lifetime treasures. Oops, I almost forgot our wonderful daughter-in-law and two wonderful sons-in-law. (I feel like Lawrence Welk - Wonderful, Wonderful).
It is easy to get caught up in the day to day issues of everyday life and business, and forget what is really important. Kiss a turtle, or Lady Bug today.
